We dedicate this edition of the rives de l’iriv to Antonio Tabucchi, who was a writer, professor of Portuguese literature at the University of Siena (Italy), translator of the works of Pessoa and director of the Institute of Italian Culture in Lisbon before passing away in March, 2012. Reflection and truth, identity and otherness were central themes of his works.

This twenty second edition is dedicated to reflections. The editorial rive explores the role of testimony that associations hold, they themselves being reflections of reality. The academic rive evokes the works of Leonardo da Vinci, who was also a theorist of reflection. The Erasmus rive describes the individual's quest for self-reflection. The poetic rive proposes some different examples of reflection according to three secondary school students. The Portuguese rive analyses the academic success rates of young immigrants in Portugal.
